Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a treatment that helps you recover from injury, manage pain, and improve movement using exercise, hands-on therapy, and personalised advice.

Do I need a referral to book in?

No referral is needed. You can contact me directly to book a consultation — whether you're self-funded or covered by insurance.

What happens during the first session?

We’ll start with a thorough assessment to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. I’ll carry out relevant tests, discuss my findings, and we’ll work together to create a treatment plan tailored to you.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. Some people feel better after one or two sessions, others benefit from a more structured plan. I’ll always be honest about what I recommend and work with your availability and budget.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes — I offer online physiotherapy and rehab consultations, which are great for follow-up support, exercise progression, or if you can’t make it in person.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable that allows access to the area being treated — e.g. shorts for knee issues or a vest for shoulder problems.

Are your services covered by health insurance?

Yes — I’m recognised by several major health insurers. Please check with your provider before booking, and let me know if you’ll be claiming through insurance.
