I’m here to help you on your health journey

Daniel Davis

BSc MSc MSCP AACP FHEA

My passion for physiotherapy began during my time as an international athlete, representing both England and Great Britain. The invaluable treatment and advice I received from my physiotherapist while competing not only kept me performing at my best but also inspired me to pursue this career. I saw first-hand how the right care could transform recovery, performance, and overall well-being, and I knew I wanted to do the same for others.

I gained a decade of experience in the NHS, whilst working as a highly specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist in one of only two NHS funded multidisciplinary sports injury clinics in London. Alongside this, I began lecturing in 2019 and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) shortly after. To understand how to help clients and students set goals and keep themselves accountable, I also completed a Diploma in effective coaching and mentoring, which I integrate into my clinical and academic practice.

Alongside my international athletic career, I studied Psychology BSc, which gave me a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. This knowledge helps me take a holistic approach to physiotherapy, recognising how mental well-being plays a key role in recovery, movement, and overall health.

My Personal Mission

To deliver high-quality physiotherapy that not only treats the body, but also considers the psychological and social factors influencing your health—helping you move well, recover stronger, and empowering you to make meaningful positive health changes.

My Vison for Get: Physiotherapy

To be recognised as a centre of excellence for holistic, person-centred care—where physical rehabilitation is seamlessly integrated with mental wellbeing and lifestyle support to optimise long-term health outcomes.

To achieve both of these during your care we will consider the six most significant aspects of health an predictors of life expectancy in relation to how they show up in your life: movement, stress management, nutrition, social connectedness, sleep and recreational drug use.

  • Movement

Movement supports joint health, reduces pain, boosts energy, and enhances your overall quality of life.

  • Stress Management

Effective stress management helps restore life balance, improve focus, and support long-term physical and emotional wellbeing.

  • Nutrition

Good nutrition enhances your immune system, improve digestion, and elevate your overall wellbeing.

  • Social Connections

Strong social connections and meaningful relationships can boost your mood, support mental health, and even increase life expectancy.

  • Quality Sleep

Quality sleep is essential for recovery, and overall health. It strengthens your immune system, balances your mood, appetite and energy regulation.

  • Adapt Positive Health Behaviours

Positive choices help your body heal, perform better, and thrive.
