Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment that uses a variety of techniques to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, reduce stress, and support recovery from injury or strain.

What types of massage do you offer?

I offer a range of massage techniques tailored to your needs, including:

  • Sports massage

  • Deep tissue massage

  • Relaxation massage

  • Trigger point therapy

  • Myofascial release

We’ll discuss your goals and I’ll adapt the treatment to suit your needs.

Do I need to be injured to benefit from massage?

Not at all. Many people use massage as part of their regular routine for stress relief, recovery, or simply to feel better in their bodies.

What should I expect during a session?

Before we begin, I’ll ask you about your goals, any areas of concern, and your health history. You’ll be covered with towels during treatment, with only the area being worked on exposed. The environment is professional, comfortable, and respectful at all times.

Will it hurt?

Massage should never feel unbearable. Some deeper techniques may cause slight discomfort, especially if you have a lot of muscle tightness, but I’ll always work within your tolerance and check in with you during the session.

What should I wear?

You’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level — most people remain in their underwear. You’ll be covered with a towel throughout the treatment, and only the area being treated will be uncovered at any time.

How often should I have a massage?

This depends on your goals. Some people come weekly, fortnightly, or monthly for maintenance or stress relief. Others book more frequently during intense training or injury recovery. I can help you decide what’s right for you.
